Outdoor Bluetooth Speakers - "Yes, it's waterproof"

Ecoxgear advertises their outdoor bluetooth speakers with the slogan "Yes, it's waterproof", so I got my brother one and did what men are supposed to do: put it into a swimming pool and see what happens.

Unfortunately we were not brave enough to really dive it into the water, but after showering it successfully, I don't think a short dive could do any harm.
